Two coaches behind the Yorkshire Cricket Club's success over the past two years are to receive honorary degrees.

Leeds Beckett University is to award Yorkshire’s first team coach Jason Gillespie an Honorary Doctorate of Sport Science while director of cricket Martyn Moxon will be given an Honorary Doctorate of Sport in separate ceremonies later this month.

The pair – both former players – were integral to Yorkshire’s LV= County Championship back-to-back title successes in 2014 and 2015.
