Pigeon-loving pensioner dies after assault
Jim "Sunshine" Heasley, 70, from Lisburn, Northern Ireland, was attacked in the city on October 17and was being treated in Belfast City Hospital.
Officers said they were now treating the investigation as a murder inquiry.

Hide AdA police spokesman added: "This was an unprovoked attack on a defenceless 70-year-old man who was on his way home after a night out with his friends."
A man aged 47 was charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent and has appeared in court.
